Theology of a Modern Heretic

An ordinary man's unconventional belief about God and his existence.

Who created God?

This is a very interesting question. And for sure, you have asked yourself this:

“If God exists, and He created all things, Who created Him?”

If there is a “Someone” who created God, who then is the creator of God? The question then starts to loop into itself [who created the creator of God and so forth], and it never ends.

Let us try to dissect the question so that we would know what are the premises behind the question itself.
The word ‘create’ requires a ‘creator’ in order to have a ‘creation’. Hence, the question already assumes that there is a ‘creator’ and a ‘creation’.

The Creation Theory requires a separate being or entity powerful enough to ‘create’, and the product of this act and power, which is called ‘creation’ becomes an object or event, that which is not part of the ‘creator’.

The creation theory also undermines the fact about evolution. Any living organism on this planet evolves. Its evolution is affected by several factors but mostly, the environment that which it belongs to contributes to its development / evolution. The evolution might not be very evident within a short time frame, but it has been scientifically proven that evolution does exist.

Human immunity is, for me, a product of evolution itself. If you are subjected to a specific illness for the first time, your body tends to produce antibodies to counteract that illness. Once it has healed, your body will also develop and strengthen its defense mechanism so that if it is attacked by the same illness, then it wouldn’t be affected anymore, or at least not that easily. Haven’t you noticed that people of color usually live in areas where there is too much sun [near the equator]? Their skin produces more melanin compared to those who live in other areas. Don’t you think this is evolution at work wherein our body tries to evolve and adapt to its environment in order to protect ourselves?

My purpose on discussing about the evolution and creation theory is to point out that God was never created. If there was indeed a Big Bang, it was not because some powerful separate entity caused it to happen, it was God in the Big Bang itself. And whatever caused the Big Bang, it was part of God. Remember our definition of God that God is everything. God is the totality. He is the seen and the unseen. He is time, space, and energy. That is why He is usually called the Alpha and the Omega [the beginning and the end] because everything starts with God and ends with God. What we are now, is a product of evolution and we still continue to evolve

And whatever happens and whatever comes in between is still God’s and is God because He is everything.
